Shack-A-Kai is located directly on Princess Diana Beach in Barbuda, offering one of the most authentic barefoot dining experiences in the Caribbean. The venue is a rustic beach shack with solar-powered lighting, shaded seating, and panoramic views of turquoise water and white sand. Guests arrive by car, dinghy, or foot, often pulling up yachts just offshore. The vibe is relaxed and unfiltered, with a focus on simplicity, fresh seafood, and local hospitality. Beach chairs are available, and bonfires can be arranged on request.

Shack-A-Kai specializes in grilled lobster, caught fresh and cooked over open flame. The menu is limited but deeply satisfying. Highlights include:

Guests must pre-order lobster by phone or WhatsApp to ensure availability. Enoch, the owner and grill master, sources lobsters directly from local fishermen and stores them in the sea until cooking time. Vegetarian options are rare but can be accommodated with notice.
